The Oregon School of Massage offers a Reiki I class with Frank in Portland in the Fall (date to be announced). Price: $295. It also offers this class at Breitenbush Hot Springs on Aug 1-3, 2008. Note: For all Frank’s classes LMT’s can earn Continuing Education credits!
Reiki Support Group: Every 2nd and 4th Saturday from 10 a.m. till noon. Sessions are also open to novices from the public and it is possible to come to just receive healing. Sessions are free, donations are welcomed. Goes on even if Frank is out of town.
~ Guided Meditation ~
Guided meditation: Every Wednesday and Friday from 8-8:45 a.m. No charge. The meditation is silent and Frank offers spontaneous and inspired guidance. This guidance is recorded and transcribed and can be obtained on a regular basis through email by request. When Frank is out of town Dagmar holds silent meditation.
~ Shamanic ~
Shamanic Healing Class (with the assistance of Mike Iannantuano of Spirit Light Reiki Clinic): Exploring the essence of shamanism including use of voice, drumming, journeying. In the tradition where shamanic wisdom is awakened through direct and intimate transmission between teacher and student Frank attempts to pass on what he has learnt on his shamanic path of 25+ years. 5 Thursday evenings, every other week, from 6 pm-9 pm: Sept 25, Oct 9, Oct 23, Nov 6, Nov 20. Price: $250 ($235 for retakers). (15 CE’s)
Shamanic Evenings on Thursdays: These sound events are always very transformative. In the first part Frank leads a journey (sometimes accompanied by a drummer). In the second part, immediately after the journey, silence will be held for awhile, followed by healing work or a collective shamanisation. The times for journey and silence are from 7-9pm. After that there will be social time downstairs for about half an hour for those who want. The suggested donation for an evening is $30. If you can, call or email to make reservations, but in general there is space for everybody: August 21 and Oct 16.
~ Private Sessions ~
Private Sessions: Frank does Reiki, Counseling, Shamanic and Massage Sessions and combines some of these modalities. From March 1st 2008 the price is $90 for an hour and 20 minutes. For people with financial difficulties, love offerings or sliding scale can be negotiated. Frank is also available for phone consultations and long distance work.
~ Journey to the Heart ~
Journey to the Heart: the Direct Way to Happiness: Saturday, November 1st from 10am-4am. Suggested donation: $40. Through lecture, dialogue and guided meditations involving the body and the mind Frank will present his love for the “direct path” of Advaita, the ancient teaching of nonduality. In this approach there is no separation between “me” and the rest of the universe. The awareness of the truth of this proposition can give anyone a sudden recognition that this is both the immediate and ultimate experience of one’s true nature. Once we have glimpses of this the only thing that is needed is a continuing stabilization in the happiness and freedom of this natural state.

Drop-in Class: Awakening through A Course in Miracles on Mondays from 6 pm-7.30 pm August 4, September 29, October 13, October 27 and November 10. Suggested donation: $10-$20.
~Retreats ~
Retreats with Frank and Kathy in Belgium and Holland. Every year (in January, June and September) we offer residential retreats in a macrobiotic center off the beaten track in the woods in the deep south of Belgium, close to the famous abbey of Orval. The classes are also listed on www.owc.be In Holland there will be a shamanic workshop in the beautiful rural setting of a labyrinth center: Centrum Athanor in Lochem to celebrate Summer Solstice (June 20th-22nd).
